Funny as hell reading through my old comments.... especially the one person who got mad at me for liking VladxJazz. That still holds: the author may not like it, but it's gonna happen anyway. Might as well say you dislike it and let the crack writers go on with their lives. -shrugs-

Then he doesn't have to think about it. I used to think that as a Phan I had to agree with whatever Butch thought and only write or draw cannon. But everyone has their own oppinion, and mine just happens to be that it's cute.
And, no offense, but the "Butch doesn't like it thus it's wrong" oppinion has been shot at me before, and my thoughts on it haven't changed: if Butch doesn't like it, he can ignore it and move on.

Jerk? No, just not a complete follower. I'll put it like this: You were upset when they cancelled the show, yes? Well, that was because of people who thought it was too violent. It obviously wasn't, and if they didn't want their kids to watch it, then they should have stopped their own kids from watching it. There was no need to cancel the whole show and kill the rest of us. If Butch didn't ignore the odd and anti-cannon things that popped up as soon as the show aired, we never would have gotten as far as Phantom Planet. He'd have just said "screw this, they're messing up my idea, so I'm not giving them anymore to mess up". That explanation was probably badly written, but it's my oppinion.
But if you wish to follow Butch's mind unerringly and never have an original thought about this great fandom, you can do that. it's your choice.
