Description
The artwork is by the wonderful .I really owe her big time for this.
Originally for BattleofLimbah , I'm making this a reference for anything.
The following is information regarding Jen.
Name: Jennifer Elizabeth Malcolm
Height: 5’10”
Weight: appears to be roughly 135 lbs (She does have the build of such an individual but I’m not sure how much of a malleable substance it would take for Jen to do all the neat things she can do while also keeping her natural state, which is base female anatomy, with a skeleton and such)
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Blue, always in a long, layered bobcut
Born: October 7, 1988
Personality: Kind, courteous, sassy, fun loving and always out for excitement. Also a little quick-tempered and sarcastic. Very stubborn.
Strengths: *Jen’s entire body is made out of a substance that’s blue and liquid-like, making her malleable, able for her to make many kinds of shapes out of her body though an effort of will. Example, she often makes her arms into blades or melds them together to make something like a sledgehammer. She has also utilized her shape-shifting for practical uses, such as molding her fingers into keys to unlock doors.
*Jen is impervious to almost every conventional form of injury. If a part of her body was to be removed, it automatically finds its way back to Jen and it melds back into her.
*Jen can alter her density to degree, allowing her to let solid objects to either pass completely through her or be unable to even pierce her skin.
*Jen has an enhanced level of strength compared to a normal person of her build, though not to a superhuman degree. She can lift upwards to 700 pounds, with some effort.
Weaknesses: *Jen can be completely frozen or evaporated. While neither will kill her, it will render her unable to do much of anything for a time, until she thaw or condenses. Also, it takes temperatures lower much lower then water’s freezing point for Jen to freeze and temperatures much higher then water’s boiling point for her to evaporate.
* If one of Jen’s body parts is separated from her, it will seek out her body, but it will take some time to fully reform. Similarly, Jen can be blown apart, and it will take some time for her to reform, and depending on how far apart each part of her is, the time is indeterminate.
* Jen has to focus to make herself semi-permeable or steel-hard, so if someone attacks her and she’s unprepared, she’ll be as vulnerable as a normal human. (well, one that can reform herself, but still…).
* Jen is a little impulsive, and this coupled with her kindness and temper, can lead her into traps and bad situations.
Other things to know:
*Always ready for a fight, Jen has proven herself a capable fighter, skilled in swordsmanship and several fighting styles, such as Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, Boxing, and Dragon-style kung fu. She is also a quick thinker, using her environment to whatever advantage she can. While she specializes in swordsmanship, she often fights using only her normal fists and legs unless she needs a weapon.
* Jen carries several glow sticks with her, all are green and they give off a fair amount of light.
* Jen is an skilled guitarist. Just something about her that could be used.
* Just a side note that whatever Jen touches doesn’t become wet. She is as solid as a normal human unless she chooses to become otherwise. So calling Jen a water woman is something of a misnomer.
*Jen is spoken for, having married Henry Grant (wizard4hire.deviantart.com/art… )
For her voice, I think Laura Bailey, known for her rolls in BloodRayne 1 and 2 as Rayne, would be a good basis for Jen's voice.
And because I like scales, here’s Jen on my modified version of the Marvel Comic’s Power Grid (blank template here: wizard4hire.deviantart.com/art… and the reference for the original: marvel.com/universe/OHOTMU:Pow… )
Intelligence: 3/7
Strength: 3/7
Speed: 2/7
Durability: 6/7
Energy Projection: 1/7
Magical Aptitude: 2/7
Hand-to-Hand: 5/7
Weapon Skills: 5/7
Will: 7/7
And this ends the ref.
Jen Malcolm is Mine.

No.
She doesn't need to breath.
(How do you drown a water woman?)

it dosen't say she's made out of water just a liquidy stuff (calling Jen a water woman is something of a misnomer.), what about like disolve in water, acid or the same stuff she's made of... is this anoying you?? i can stop asking questions but i'm just intreasted... can she be frozen pemently byy a bad guy .

I know, but water woman is a short way of saying it.
She can alter her density, so I don't think she will disolve, but acid will sting her a bit.
Frozen, oh yeah. Her freezing point is well bellow that of water's, but it can be done. She just needs to thaw out, and she'll be fine.

So she dosen't breath/dosen't need to? how about like contanmanted, ex she was in liquid form and some other liquid mixed in with her... (trying to find weaknesses so i can make a bad guy to fight her hehehe) she must be able to die some how...

wizard4hire In reply to Satan66 [2010-04-14 01:21:45 +0000 UTC]
No, she doesn't. Okay, you're right, calling her a liquid is a mistake.
When ever she isn't focusing, she is as solid and normal as a human, though she is one who can recover from damage rapidly.
Uh, I don't want her dead. I've got plans for her.

haha okay i can tell i'm anoying you now. ill leave it. i'm just saying that she can't be imortal because then she can't be put into any kind of danger and that just makes her unintreasting. no offence ment tho. apart from that shes a very cool concept.

No, you're not.
If she's caught off guard, a toxin that paralyzes could incapacitate her for a while.
But she'll be pissed.

I made her around the same time I came up with Henry.
I just used her for Battle of Limbah.

They're called Original Character Tournaments (OCT).
Usually they are fighting tournaments where everyone uses their character and art to fight other characters.
All in fun (I hope).

Say, when Jen makes her body semi-permeable, does her clothes take the same effect?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
wizard4hire In reply to ancient-sun [2010-02-19 01:48:55 +0000 UTC]
No, they're normal clothing items. So, if you plan on stabbing her, the cloths will rip.
She'll be fine, though.

You mention that Jen knows several fighting styles. Would that include karate?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
wizard4hire In reply to ancient-sun [2010-03-07 13:04:17 +0000 UTC]
A little. More aikido then karate, though.
And some Zui Quan, but Jen is mainly a brawler, knowing more street and seemingly improvised techniques then a proper practice.
Her real skill comes from sword play, which she can do with either a real sword or one of her arms in blade form.

Oh that Jen. Always being watery and turning her hands into blades. Good luck on this one man. Make us tournament goers proud!
(not that I'm a tournament goer anymore, eheh.)

Eh, I'll still watch tournaments and stuff but I don't think I'll ever participate again. At least not as an artist anyway.

I really like this character, Chaos-Flower did a beautiful job with the art, and you've obviously put a great deal of thought into Jen's development. I wish you luck, well done on the ref.

Good luck to you as well.
I read your story and I liked it, I just need to take a better look at the ref to learn some more about them.
Thanks again

It is perfectly acceptable to appreciate one's own work, it's not egotistical, it's just a relatively unusual situation for one's work to be posted under another's gallery as a result of Co-op! Take this opportunity to pat yourself on the back and say "Well Done, Chaos-Flower"
