Description Finally got a good picture of this thing. This was what I made for the Thematic Bracelet assignment from MassART's jewelry program.

Based off the pattern from this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=iVM-dC… Except instead of aviation shears and a ball-peen, I used a jewelers saw and other small metalworking techniques.

Made out of a sheet of Nu-Gold (Brass alloy) and Bronze (90% Cu, 10% Sn) and a piece of Sterling Silver sweat soldiered on to the knuckle plate. The stone is a chunk of Pietersite that I cut up and shaped into a cab. I am amazed that I didn't melt the fine silver bezel wire.

The rivets were copper pre-fabs with one side already set, and the washers were Brass. I ordered them from an AMAZING website that has EVERYTHING: www.mcmaster.com/

Close up on the stone: fav.me/d4pbjb4

Here's a video of the articulation: www.youtube.com/watch?v=vs-y3C…

Completed on December 9th, 2011.

EDIT: I found an older photo that shows off the two different metals much better: countmagnus.deviantart.com/art…
