Okay, this is a bit of a departure for me...Across the centuries, burning at the stake has been considered one of the most painful, inhumane methods of execution, reserved for heretics and those believed to commune with dark forces. Few who ever cried for the deaths that came to these victims could ever watch these executions, many of the men who performed them couldn't even keep their eyes on the condemned.
