This photo was taken in September of 2004 in Callington South Australia. It was taken with a digital camera (BENQ DC-1300). What you see is what the camera captured. There is an odd tendril of dark cloud reaching toward the ground, and a bird in flight. The bird in the photo was a wonderful surprise. I was trying to get one in the frame, but I could not have asked for something better.Related content

I think this has got to be one of my all-time favourite photos, not only of your own work, but also of sunsets in general. You've got such a nice balance of light and darkness here, as well as colour and composition... ...truly beautiful. Nice cooperation on the part of your subjects, too -- though how you coreographed the bird and the little twist of cloud, I don't know...
