Thanks! And I love it when hardware comes with nifty software freebies like that Especially because Adobe are pretty tight about giving anything away for free on their own accord.

I love you!!! Haha sadly my scanner also likes to put a little yellow tint to my images, but for that I play with the brightness and contrast. But you are amazing I will try this when I upload my next picture

While I don't do a whole lot of marker work, I think this will still be helpful for other colour drawings. Thanks very much!

um when i scan one of my copic arts which has flourescent colors in it,it scans like a light color, how do i fix this in photoshop??

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Wolf-Suit In reply to stefou98 [2010-10-03 02:09:25 +0000 UTC]

Ahh.. all fluorescent colours won't scan because they are something called "out of gamut" with RGB (red, green, blue), which is how your scanner reads colour information. Because it's also how your computer monitor displays you will never be able to represent them very accurately. I should have mentioned this in the tutorial, because I have a fluro yellow that won't display.
The best option for you is to completely remove as much of the original colour from your image as possible (using the dodge tool) and replace it completely digitally with a bright substitute. It will never look identical, but because it's completely digital, it will appear more vibrant than the surrounding colours and go some way to replicating the fluorescent effect.
I hope this helps you.
