Description
This was my final painting for my Intro to Painting class. I started painting the background to get myself into the painting because at that point in the class I was burned out and sick of painting. I liked the background so much I decided to add a figure, which fought with me endlessly. Also, I was listening to AFI at the time which inspired the name and the composition of this piece.

Medium: mixed media on canvas. The background is acrylic. The figure is watercolor pencil and acrylic on watercolor paper pasted onto canvas using gel medium. The railing is also acrylic with micron pen for detail.

And, I added the warning for mild nudity because the figure, even though nothing is revealed, is nude.
