History:
Karla was born to a fisherman father and stay at home mother. Her father would often go out to sea for weeks at a time. So the young girl spent most of her time with her mother, but that didn't stop her from being a daddy's girl. When the new Safari Zone was built, Karla's mother immediately signed up for a job in helping the pokemon with vaccinations and the like, while her daughter attended classes. On occasion, Karla's mother would bring her daughter along with her to work at her daughter's constant whining about wanting to go and see all the pokemon. Life was good, but it would get better for the girl. One evening, when her father returned from a fishing excursion, his friend was getting ready to go out on one. He had a purple egg with red spots. He told the little girl that he wouldn't be able to take the egg with him and tend to it properly and wanted to know if she would take the egg for him. She happily agreed and took the egg. She would sleep with the egg and cuddle the egg, even carried the egg to school in a pouch that sat against her stomach. People made fun of her on occasion. The egg hatched... it hatched into a Charmander... the weirdest Charmander the girl had ever seen. It was black with an almost grey belly and golden eyes. She danced around excitedly with her baby boy... that she later found out was a girl. Double rare. She was named Ember.

Karla and Ember got into lots of trouble together, destroying things, playing all day, pulling pranks on her mother and unsuspecting pokemon in the Safari Zone. It was during one of their punishment from an older Pokemon that the young girl decided it was time to train. Herself and Ember. It was usually in the ruse of playing. They ran around all day, lifted weights, and sit ups. They had to get strong. Before long, Ember evolved into Charmeleon. The training continued and before long, she was evolving into Charizard. That's when the real fun began. Flying around on a large black Charizard was the highlight of her days. She wanted her girl's wings to become strong. Soon after, Bubbles joined their team. Their two man team became a trio.

As time went by, Karla decided to travel around, doing odd jobs to make their way. They could leave the secluded Cianwood City and that's what they did. More pokemon have joined their team now. And they often visit her parents at home.

Got into lots of fist fights with boys while growing up.
Has had her Charizard and Vaporeon the longest from her team.

When Karla was very young, before she even received Ember's egg, she swore she seen Lugia. To this day she'll swear to seeing the mighty pokemon. Witnessing his beautiful form, inspired her to want to grow up and travel the world with her team of pokemon that she would build one day.
