All around Today

A find day where I want to go out and play,
But that is not so.
Instead describing all around as I may,
Still I want to go

With the wind blowing,
And the lawn mowers mowing,
I sit in the grass today,
Feeling like I’m sitting in hay.

With the sun on my back,
With the wind hacking,
Upon my back,
Still I feel like packing.

The crows bug me,
With talk about thee,
And there wings black as night,
To bad there isn’t a kite.

Now the cold is upon me,
But not to distract me;
I wonder if she,
Thinks of the tree;

With the trees over us,
It feels like I must;
Touch the rough bark on the tree.
At least I’m not touching bees.

Pine cones are flying,
But at least no ones dying;
By getting hit by these,
With the rough texture of leaves;

The cameras recording;
I feel like boarding;
On the band-wagon today
On the day in May.
