While his mind is brilliant, Professor Charles Xavier is known more for the power of his…well, also mind. But in this case his mutant powers therein. As possibly the most powerful telepathic mind on the planet, Xavier knows the dangers mutants face well, and founded his School for Gifted Youngsters to protect and train young mutants to survive a world that hates and fears them, as well as protect innocent humans from mutants who use their powers for evil. When they operate in public using their powers, they are known as the Uncanny X-Men. Perhaps you’ve heard of them. ⁣

While the general public is unaware of Xavier’s mutant status, the government sure is aware. That’s why Federal Agent (and former Avengers government liaison) Henry Gyrich has dropped by the X-Mansion for a chat, with his drafted Avenger (who is also a government agent), U.S. Agent. Two jerkier jerks, together? That can’t be good.⁣

Gyrich has come to ask The Professor, a known expert in Human-Mutant relations, to accompany them on a peace-keeping trip to Genosha. Charles in willing to go, but has one caveat: he gets to bring a guest. One Gyrich hates…⁣
