Ugh. This guy. The alien, time-traveling mess of a character known as Century.⁣

Look, we try to be fair here at Vector Vengers. Mostly some light ridicule at the expense of our hard-fighting Marvel Heroes. But this guy? Ugh.⁣
⁣
Anyway, this fella shows up when Force Works were in their inaugural super battle. And his interference was partially responsible for Wonder Man dying on this mission. Way to poop the bed on your first day, dude.⁣

And yes, he looks ridiculous. Like an off-model, dollar store Spawn. The early 90s meant comic book characters were just covered in senseless crap. Just all over their body. It was a weird time, folks.⁣

Beyond being lame and incompetent, Century was also a convoluted character. An alien gestalt being made of the combined minds of the greatest warriors the beings known as the Hodomurians had to offer. He somehow, while trying to hunt down his sworn enemy, Lore, got lost in the timestream and ended up in the midst of the battle on Earth between Force Works and some Kree terrorists. ⁣

He also had some kind of magic pokey-stick weapon named Parallax that enables him to sense evil, teleport himself & others and, I suppose poke people really well. It’s pretty pokey. ⁣

Tony let him join Force Works for some reason. Look, even the smartest people can make bad decisions.⁣ Luckily nowadays he all but forgotten....
