So Thanos, omnipotent from having possession of all 6 Infinity Gems, has murdered half the life in the Universe, killed most of the heroes from Earth that came to fight him, and beaten and imprisoned the most powerful, godlike cosmic beings in existence. So that's probably not good, right?⁣⁣

Well, in fighting off Eternity, the very avatar of existence itself, Thanos decides to abandon his body and take the place of Eternity, essentially becoming the new version of the cosmic god. So also, probably not good.⁣⁣

This ended up being a big mistake. Nebula, who Thanos had reduced a scarred, burned up husk of a woman, keeping her alive in agony, on the edge of death...well, she had just enough life left in her to reach the Infinity Gauntlet on Thanos' now unoccupied body. She claimed the omnipotence for herself, healing her wounds, and tossing Thanos, as well as his weird female version of himself he made to make Death jealous, Terraxia, into deep space. Nebula was now basically God. Super not good. ⁣⁣

His gross magic sex doll died instantly, but Thanos was teleported to Earth by Doctor Strange. Why, right? Well, Adam Warlock thought he'd be useful in the fight against Nebula. For....reasons? Comics, man.⁣⁣
