OPERATION GALACTIC STORM part 23:
So due to lax Avengers security measures, the Avengers squad that stayed on Earth, with the main job of guarding the Shi’ar and Kree prisoners they had captured…well, they totally fubared that one up.
The team was so busy with in-fighting and sexual harassment that the Shi’ar Imperial Guard just walk right in the building. First up was this Goth space lady, Nightside. Super tough, able to “project” darkness, and completing willing to horde all the latex sexy witch costumes from a Spirit Halloween store, she’s bad news. Teamed with some other Imperial Guardsmen and some Shi’ar soldiers, she easily penetrates the Avenger’s West Compound’s defenses and frees the prisoners. Shi’ar and Kree alike.
You’d think the world’s premiere superhero team would maybe be prepared to handle an attack by a spooky space witch whose main power is “making it kind of dark in here,” but sadly, no…the Avengers, as usual, are pretty inept.
