Like the rest of his Brethren in the Elders of the Universe, En Dwi Gast is the last surviving member of his race, which was one of the earliest intelligent species to come into existence after the Big Bang. Immortal, powerful and incredibly ancient, he is better known as The Grandmaster. He is also less commonly known as "old blue guy that dresses like a packet of mustard."⁣

Grandmaster's entire raison d'être is games and wagers. And being a powerful cosmic being, he plays his games on grand scales. Which he is the master of. Oh, wait, I just got his name...⁣

Anyway, he often sets up games with groups of super powered beings against other, similar groups. Sounds silly, but its an easy narrative trick to get two groups of silly characters into big, silly battles.⁣

Grandmaster is pretty much incapable of accepting a bet, and this is usually his downfall. That and he probably can run very fast in that outfit. ⁣
