A mercenary hailing from Zambia, Africa, Impala had the sleek, imposing physicality of 1980s icon, Grace Jones. But she mixed that with all the charisma and staying power of a luke warm bowl of plain oatmeal.

Turning up, seemingly out of nowhere as a member of Superia's Femizons, Impala showed off her olympic-level athletic skills and her love of throwing huge javelins at stuff. Also, she was a fashion trend-setter in the rare "bald, but still wears a tiara" category.

When Femizon lieutenant, Snapdragon, attempted to kill Diamondback by throwing her overboard from a supervillain yacht (Captain America's associate/girlfriend and former Serpent Society member), Impala showed she wasn't totally evil. When Diamondback's friends Asp and Black Mamba (also former Serpent Society members, as you could probably tell from the names), Impala's honor code had her help search for Diamondback. She then joined the duo in the B.A.D. Girls mercenary team Diamondback had established with those two. Seeing as the "D" in "BAD" stood for "Diamondback," this didn't last very long. Because "B.A.I. Girls" didn't have the same ring to it.

Impala, being kinda boring for a super tall African merc that throws shinty sticks at people, fell off the radar since those days. Hopefully she's off enjoying some nice oatmeal.
