Wait....supervillain circus folk? Are we scraping the very bottom of the MISCELLANEOUS MISCREANT barrel? Probably! Meet The Circus of Crime!⁣

Maynard Tiboldt (yikes, what a name) inherited an entire circus from his father, who was *checks note*...yep, a nazi circus owner. Still being a scumbag, but not a "nazi level scumbag," Maynard moved the family circus to the United States to distance the operation from...you know....nazis.⁣
⁣
Well, as we Vectorinos all know, circuses aren't really the sure-fire business model that most folks think they are. So, running into economic hardships, Maynard hatched a plan. A complex, unlikely, and kinda stupid plan. ⁣

Now calling himself The Ringmaster, he somehow made or obtained a top hat with a powerful hypnotic device inside. With this nonsensical tool, he would put audiences in a trance and have his circus goons rob them (somehow he had enough patrons to do this with -- which makes you wonder why the circus wasn't making money). Once out of the trance, the audience had no idea what happened (assuming no one at all compared stories about suddenly not having wallets after a trip to the creepy nazi circus).⁣

This brought the attention of superheroes, which brought the attention of punching. But no amount of beatings ever deterred Maynard. The Hulk, Spider-Man, the Avengers, Ghost Rider... every hero gets a chance to beat up Ringmaster and the Circus of Crime. But does he quit? Nope. Gotta admire the consistency. ⁣
