Description
Dr. Vincent Stegron was an assistant to one Dr. Curt Connors. You know…the guy that sometimes turns himself into a lizard monster named The Lizard (super creative, Doc) and fights Spider-Man. Well, naturally, S.H.I.E.L.D. gave Conners a ton of dinosaur DNA samples from The Savage Land, because giving comic-book sci-fi nonsense to a guy that goes nuts once a year and punches a superhero is a smart, safe plan. You can probably see where this is going.
So, not surprisingly, the guy with the dinosaur-sounding last name is A: obsessed with dinosaurs, and B: obsessed with the serum that turned Dr. Conners into the Lizard. So, of course, he mixes in some dino DNA and injects himself. Don’t look surprised. This is a comic book story…we all knew what was gonna go down.
Turning into a big, orange stegosaurus guy, Vincent declared he is now called Stegron, the Dinosaur Man! And now he pretty much just tries to turn people into dinosaurs. He’s really fixated on that. What a weird dude.
Anyway, whether in New York or the Savage Land, he sticks to his goals, which usually ends with ka-Zar, Spider-Man, or the X-Men punching him a bunch.
