Oh, because the one in AvP 3 has a rail system instead of top sights as well.

It has a rail along the top so you can put any type of sight you want on it. It is also a carbine version with no launcher, instead it has an integrated motion tracker.

Damn, housing the sensor equipment under the barrel for a sweep and clear sort of mission carbine setup, great idea.
