Description Darn, I missed the deadline to get the next Coup installment out. I am really trying to make this one the best and am experimenting with different techniques. Anyway, here are some samples I have been working on. I would like to thank , and for recommending to me Manga Studio 5. It truly is wonderful and I have not even truly learned how to use it yet. That combined with my Cintiq really is a winning combination. In this image starting from the top left that was done completely in Manga Studio 5, the next one was hand drawn straight in Manga Studio 5, the next image is a sample of how I begin my sprites which is from hand drawn images from paper and scanned in, and the bottom two are hand draw images. I am really liking this program and may be able to save a few trees and do away with paper. Anyway, hope all enjoy.

Nice stuff! Glad to see you've started using MS5. I'm still getting more comfortable with the software myself... your work reminded me that I'm not doing enough shading and texture work with the tools... I'm still treating MS5 the way I would draw in Photoshop, not taking full advantage of its drawing tools.

Thank you sir. You know what, I only used one pen for that so far and that was the mapping pen. I like how it makes everything look like a pencil sketch. I am still trying to figure out how you are able to do such fine inking. All your lines are nice and perfect, you must give me some tips.

For inking, I use the G-Pen, zoom in tight, and turn the stabilizer all the way up. But to be honest, I often prefer the comfortable feel of the Rough Pencil and Darker Pencil...I've done some "inking" with the latter and it felt much smoother.
