My name is Dominic Rivera. I am not completely human. I am not trying to gain your sympathy with this story I am about to tell you, but it is so that you can better understand my actions, so you can begin to forgive me, and so that I no longer look like a monster to you. Close your eyes and let me take you back a decade ago, to when I was 13.

"Momma I am going to be late to school!" my voice calls out down the hall with a noticeable frustration. "It's the first day of school and I can't be late" the last word leaving my young lips with a sarcastic note, as I begin to search the house for her, she rounds the corner with a nice dress shirt. "I know sweetie but I gotta make sure my special little boy looks good today!" "Do not call me that Mom," I say with a stern strong voice, the veins in my arm growing visible, eyes turning a slight crimson red in color, reticule-changing shape. I breathe softly; I was able to calm myself, this time. "Mom please, what I am wearing is fine" She looks me over then shakes her head and gives in.

Finally entering the car I put my seat-belt on "Sweetie, you need to control you anger, do not let it take the best of you, but if it does…" her voice stops sharply as I interrupt her words."I know mom, you tell me this every time, yet you insist on aggravating me" She just smiles awkwardly, letting my attitude slide as she always did. She puts the car in motion and speeds me off to school.

The Red suburban finally pulled into my new school, with minutes to spare from being late. I get off sluggishly and walk off to the school office because I had no idea where to go. As I walked to the building, I negated to look back at my mom who was waiting expectantly for me to look back at her and wave good-bye. With a small frown, she drove away.

"I am sorry, but because you were not here for your schedule day, you will have to get your books after school, here is a copy of your schedule." "Thank you" I say with a fake happy facade as I walk out of the office. When I am finally able to find my class the bell rings loudly overhead, causing my veins to come out again, slowly angering me, because the bell scared me, and because I ended up being late anyways. I walk into the strange new classroom.

"Welcome to Olive Crest middle school everyone," The man before me slightly pauses as he notices me and continues speaking "oh, you there, you can just find a spot wherever there is an open seat". I had walked in to the class in the middle of Teacher's introductory speech; I searched the eyes staring at me, each looking innocent. Finally, I spy a spot in the room and proceeded to walk to it.

"My name is Mr. McKinney, and I will be your homeroom teacher, and at some point in the day, you will have me again to be your geography teacher." I ignored the man before me and looked all around me at my peers. The boy I was sitting next to, seemed different, and as I made a somewhat friendly gesture to him, he responded with an inhumanly odd noise; He does not seem to be very bright; I think to myself arrogantly, I will enjoy manipulating him. "Now for today, I would like to get to know your names and something you enjoy to do" said the teacher as I noticed he was still talking and decided to listen in. I watched as each kid, row by row gave their full name, and told something about them. I kept a mental note of each kid, and forever planted there pictures in my mind.

The next few classes were eerily the same. One teacher after the other just stating their name, the class rules, and how we were to conduct ourselves. Each had us give our full name, a hobby of some sort, a favorite animal even. I figured it was some sort of way for the teachers to tell us apart. After third period, we were sent off to lunch. I had no desire to hang with anyone so I secluded myself far away from the rest of the student body. My goal was simple, to study what information I had gained so far and observe.

As I thought intensively and went over each person in my memory I cam across something, and what I noticed intrigued me, one Girl had the same class with me twice so far, not that she was the only one, but I had felt her eyes on me more than once. I thought back to remember her name, and I found out who she was. Her name was Margaret.

A large guard comes into the visitor room and yells; "Time is up! Visiting time is over!" Guards encircle around me, heavily guarded, watching me as I calmly state my final words "That was the beginning of the end for me, Come back tomorrow if you want to hear more" I say with a smirk as The guards handcuff my arms, My smile held until they put a mask on my head. As I stood there like a caged up animal, a large officer stepped in struggling with a heavy metal ball, and cuffs it to my feet. They very rigidly force me out of the room. The large officer seemed to be in charge and stood there by the door watching me with a great hatred and disgust in his face.

"What did this man do to be treated as an animal?" The young reporter stated with some sympathy in her voice. The guard looked over to her and with a sincerely scared appearance replied "Are you sure you really want to know?" Said the guard as if he was afraid someone would hear. He came close to her and told her to come in closer to him. He began his sentence "He.."
