Forgot to mention that the S.A.M. is not at all exclusive to aromantics or asexuals! From what I've seen, it's most common with them, but it's certainly not an only aro or ace thing!

With the last chunk, I mentioned that 'these things can be achieved without the corresponding attraction.' What I mean is that you can be friends without platonic attraction, you can find people as visually pleasing without aesthetic attraction, you can form a QPR without queer platonic attraction, etc because of the definition of 'attraction.' Finding someone pretty without the intense desire to stare at them because of it means you're not aesthetically attracted to them, for example. Being friends just because you enjoy their company and not because you have the intense desire to means you are not platonically attracted to that person.
