I've seen the info for the new season, and it looks like that won't be the case. Don't wanna spoil it too much. Anyway, I am in the midst of formulating my own story where while he's certainly cruel and ambitious, he's also rather civil and sophisticated, like a king would be. He's mostly like Ganondorf in personality. This eventually leads him to switch sides, as he's against Tirek's idea of just open, unfettered chaos and destruction.
