Okay folks, I know I have not posted a picture of Power Rangers Deep Blue Sect in a long time, but here we have the Deep Blue Sect Rangers' mentor, Dolpha, Goddess of Poseidonia.

Intelligent and wise, Dolpha was the one who created the Ranger suits, weapons, and Zords. She has knowledge of the land, and is the only one who can give humanity a chance to return to land where they belong. She also has a soft spot of sea creatures, especially dolphins. She is also a hybrid of human and mermaid but granted godly powers by Neptue and Poseidon, both the Greek and Roman Gods of Water, who she looks up to as her grandfather and great uncle. She was trained to be a warrior by her mother, the previous ruler of the underwater city, Poseidonia, her home.

She also has rivalry with Erga the Ant-Queen and her Bugrao army, who had overrun the surface of Earth and drove the humans away from the surface. She's not just a warrior, she is also a skilled scientist and is friendly to sea cretures all around her kingdom. Her royal advisor is Sammo, a merman who looks like Namor and Tempest/Aqualda merged together but has blue skin and gills. Sammo shows Dolpha that Erga the Ant-Queen drove the humans off the land.

Feeling sorry for the humans, Dolpha gears up into battle and fights off Erga, and she quickly rushes back to her kingdom. She then gathers five teenagers, Virgil Sparks, Ken Hanakari, Simon Matheson, Linda Vale and Artemis Gordon to form a team in the long tradition of the Power Rangers and so she gives Virgil, Ken, Simon, Linda and Artemis the Hydro Morphers and they become Power Rangers Deep Blue Sect. Her trident, the Ocean Spear, is a very powerful weapon. Forged by Neptune, Roman God of Water, it gives her the powers of aqua manipulation and her sword, made by Poseidon, gives her other abilities while her other abilities allow her to walk on land and move faster in water, due to her also being a very strong swimmer.

I'll work on a bio for her someday in the future. I based a little bit of her on Ariel from The Little Mermaid mixed with Wonder Woman, Xena: Warrior Princess, Mera, the wife of Aquaman and April O'Neil from Ninja Turtles. I will also be working on another picture of her, one that will show her with human legs and her civilian disguise.
