In a fit of madness, I managed to delete this thing. So I restarted it and made it better, at least in my opinion.

It's been a long time since I've made a CG image like the "Mastermage Issue 1" and "Fireside Challenge" and I was itching to do one again. So I scanned a very rough pencil sketch (which is at this [link] ) and made lineart in PS.

With a mouse.

Using the pen tool.

Not as grueling as I thought it'd be, nor as bad as it's been in the past. I guess it's just that I have the hang of it now, because I finished the lineart in about as much time as it'd have taken me to ink by hand, and ten times cleaner and more precise than if I'd done so.

This image doesn't really mean anything. I don't know what the story is with the locket in his hand, but I get the feeling it has something to do with a girl. In any case, it was just a chance to draw Mastermage again.

I promise that at some point I'm going to color him and he won't be standing in a really dark room.
