Description

This Griffen based creature (with a cheesy name I made up with a combination of griffen and phoenix, “Griffnix”) was inspired by an incredibly vivd and graphic dream I had a while ago in which this giant creature glided effortlessly above me, tiny glittering and sparkling feathers leaving its enormous wings before disappearing into thin air around it. It then landed beside me a few metres off and stood the size of a skyscraper. Its fur is incredibly silky to the touch and almost warm, soothing and comforting (yes I did cuddle it and basically melted into its ‘mane’/scruff due to how soft it was).

P.s. would you believe me if I told you that this was the first time (at the start of the year) that I had ever even attempted to draw feathered wings. I’d never tried in my life till that drawing. I was pushed by a friend, “how do you know you can’t do it if you don’t try” and when she came back from helping out some people she had seen the drawing and kinda freaked out… I am usually quite sceptical of my drawings as I never feel like their perfect though I was quite proud I got to draw something from such a beautiful dream and of something I feel quite passionate about.

It is true that I for bond between some of my creatures and will often talk very passionately about them in particular. Some of those include, though may not have been submitted yet:

Bubbles the giant sea monster.

Toro the wood masked creature.

Martin the moth.

Flint

Bunnyfly

And more (though that’s just to name a few).
