Description Okay, I've put this under Drawing, because I'm confused as to where these designs should go..I painted them with a brush, but "ink" in considered a drawing medium.... >.<

Anyhow, this is Phase II of the project, we had to design a logo that represents "ourselves." This one stumped me as well, as I'm all over the board..I like happy cute bunnies and sunshine and I like creepy macabre things as well..I like history and I like futuristic science (heck, even when I take personality tests they say "every time you take this test the answer will be different" for crying out loud!), and trying to create an image that represented all of these was too difficult. So I went for the abstract aproach This logo is actually my original logo times four. If you take a corner of this square and rotate the image so that the middle line of the design is perfectly vertical, that's my original logo My professor suggested I try fitting my logo together in different ways (like the Chrysler logo for example) to see if I liked it, and I did. It fit in with the "I am a sum of many parts" aspect.

Okay, to explain what my original logo is supposed to be/represent I was going for a unitiy/family thing, and that was what I was trying to convey with the symbol. I also think you get a bit of sense of history with this design, at least in the way it looks. As you'll see with Phase III, there is a lot of room for interpretation with it, wich I really grateful for!

What do you see in this design? I'd really be interested to hear what any of you see in this!

With the lines it also reminds me of cell division, which brings me back to the days of biology and genes, which is kind of family... sort of. It does have a historical hint to it too.

Both this and the tattoo one remind me of quilting squares for some reason. They look nice, but as far as logos go, I like your initial one best...well in a practical sense that is, what with using it for a sig.

LOL, you know, I just recently saw cherries in it, so I believe you when you see leaves! Have you looked at the Time/Warner symbol? You can see both and eye and an ear in the symbol, it's so cool.. Actually, we've been studying a LOT of corprate logos latley and studying the meaning in them ...my eyes are crossed...Gyah...
