Description Little Lotti light as air
Homeward walking from the fair
Away from lights and noises loud
Good-bye to happy, smiling crowd

Little Lotti’s on her way
And she has a lot to say
To that boy she met just now
Who kissed her sweetly on the brow

The forest is long, and dark and grim
Maybe she should walk with him?
Hidden dangers are all around
Fearsome wolves within abound
Little Lotti takes his hand
Isn’t he a sweet young man?

So they walk into the trees
Where wolves can do just as they please
They can take off their human skin
Revealing the beast that dwells within
And where the branches hide the skies
Who will hear helpless cries?

                   Little Lotti light as air
Who walked home from the fair
and met a boy, smiled and then,
curled up to sleep within her den.

haha, poor Lotti I like it

I think this sentence is one syllable too long: "The forest is long, and dark and grim"

And in the last stanza you said "Who walked home from the fair". I think you can make the same as in the first stanza "homeward" since she actually never goes home

Really neat, I don't get to read a lot of poems that are also stories.

Considering she was a werewolf who ate the poor guy, her den IS home.
Good catch on the first sentence tho. I'll get that fixed up. Thanks for your comments!
