Description
As a disclaimer I have to say first that I don't really want to support commies but I can't really condone them either for doing snazzy propaganda. The colors and style from those posters are quite inspiring. This is supposed to look like ~frenzee 's furry avatar. A sort of crazy commie. But his colors are messed up, i.e. white, for artistic license.
I wanted to try out a new style with features I'm not quite familiar with. Dunno if I succeeded to do that, but it was still fun to do.

You managed to do a new style, I almost didnt think you drew it and had colored it for someone. It looks good though! I really like how those hands came out, and the bold lineart tis cool, yo.

Yeah... Experimenting with new styles is what I think quite an effective way to push one's abilities to the better. I actually tried a head shape I wasn't quite familiar with, thin feet and the puffy-ish hands.
The hands is something that I like the most myself. Nailing the shapes for the fingers was satisfying. I think they look macabre-styled in a way together with the nails.

Style changing can be a lil uncomfortable sometimes too. and then when you work on mastering the new style, you sometimes have trouble going back to your old one.

This is dynamic as disco! I really love how you made Frenzee come at ya, dancing with the banners. The select color scheme is really bold, just like the depicted fursona himself!

I see the two flags taken from a piece from the Soviet flag - it's the hammer and sickle for each flag, and also the colors are yellow and red. Looks like cell shading, though it only uses a shadow and main color (especially the fur) without highlight.

That reminds me that I was thinking about adding the following tagline:
"Hammer and Sickles baby!"
Kind of forgot... ah well.

Revolution: It's what's for dinner.
Very... bold, I must say. I can see the inspirations from Soviet propaganda (although their lines were always straight and blocky) but I woulda personally had the character holding a hammer and sickle as opposed to flags of such.
But I can't draw, so who am I kidding? *laughs*

Nah, you're right. I was pondering about if I should use straight and blocky. But then I figured that modulated lines and weird features are cool anyway. The only thing I really did grab from the propaganda style was contrast and colors.
I should really call this a mix of styles instead.

I sometimes do flat coloring when I feel like it. I actually haven't tried doing more realistic coloring with bold outlines. I wonder if it'll work.
