It's just as rude and annoying as begging for Points/faves/llamas/watches.
Seriously, don't do this. If you want to market yourself/advertise your work, there's the Jobs forum for that. Or the Deviation Thumbshare forum. And you got the Front Page to advertise your art, and your journal. But my own profile is NOT for advertising your work, k? Or else, I will mark it as spam. Because it really is spam. It's the Internet version of door-to-door soliciting; it's an unwarranted, annoying as hell comment done to advertise your deviation or your gallery...And it kinda makes you look like an arrogant jackass.
