I'm not sure why, but when I zoomed all the way out, his leg's just look a TAD bit short. =/ Maybe it's just me, but besides his right arm being a bit too short, he looks fine, the shading is a bit intense but you may be going for a different style. o:
Keep up the good work!

I thought his legs were a bit short too but I wanted to get someone else's opinion on the proportions just in case I was hallucinating or something. (Things start to look strange when I stare at them for too long.) As for the shading, well, most everyone that's looked at it has come to the same conclusion so I'm going to try and lighten it up a bit. Thank you for your feedback!

C: Oh yeah I completely understand, I'm like that too. Sometimes it gets to the point when I trash the work completely and come at it at a different angle. And you are so welcome! I hope I was helpful. <3

It looks pretty good! The right arm is a little too short though. I'm not sure if that's because the workspace is too small or this image is just cropped a smidge. Lengthen it up a bit and it'll look a little better, don't be afraid to draw it off of the space!
I also didn't see the previous version without the shading but I think this shading is a little much. I realize that you want to show all of his muscles but the shading is a little too heavy. You can possibly garner the same effect by lighting up a bit. Or I think it would look less intense if you made the character bigger, as in muscle builder bigger, in order too see THAT much definition. Other than thought though I think you've got a great WIP!

Okay, I thought his right arm was too short. Just needed someone else to confirm that.
On the subject of the shading, I actually had a thought process behind the level of contrast. I'm using the coloring method where you shade in grayscale first and then color in overlay and multiply layer modes. However, looking through finished works using this method, there seems to be a loss of contrast upon the colors being added. Now I've never used this method before so the shadows may still be too much. Would you happen to have any experience with that?
And thank you for the critique. :3

Sorry, unfortunately I don't really work with digital art so I don't know much about layers but I feel as if your grey scale might be a bit too limited. The majority that I see is either mostly grey to mostly black. Where the grey and black mix I feel like you can maybe expand that a bit. Make the spans of black smaller, leave the complete black for more towards the edges maybe?
And no problem!

I'll try that. My mom commented on the shadows too so you're almost definitely right. Ah well, this is what feedback is for. Thank you bunches!
