Description
It wasn't until painting one myself that I realised why Maverick paint jobs and mods were so common.. it's such a great blaster to adapt to any paint style you could wish for, from steampunk to modern day to futuristic. With this blaster I've opted for a slighly futuristic edge in the paint job, adding a custom tactical flashlight made from a cheap LED torch and a bike attachment that luckily fit the nerf tactical rail perfectly.
It will later be used as part of a short science fiction war film along with a plethora of other weapons each designated to a certain faction by the white stripes seen painted on this blaster.

Yeah, I modded it so the barrel fully extends to reload, so painted while it was disassembled. Details like the white stripes were added once reassembled at the end.

Just how difficult was it to modify and paint, overall?

Not very, there are a lot of detailed guides on Youtube on modifying the gun, the torch fitting is just epoxied on and painting is a case of spraypainting everything black and dry-brushing various layers of metallic paints over the top.

Thanks, I'm trying to mod a pair of them to look more laser-ish and futuristic.
