Description
The human barbarian Ragnr, a native of the continent of Artha on the planet where the story of Swords & Sparks takes place. Ragnr and his companions bond quickly with the Monsterbots in the fight against Oculus and his Terrorcons. Born in the southern woodlands, Ragnr tends to be boastful and overbearing, but strong-willed and genuinely good-hearted. His berserker rages turn him into a whirling, chopping frenzy that can cut through even Cybertronian defenses, and his natural athleticism lets him keep up with all but the fastest of his Monsterbot comrades.

Ragnr's people are based on the legends and lore of Vikings, but living in warm inland southern forests instead of on cold northern shores. I've tried to capture a sense that he's used to dressing lightly, with his magical boots of the winterlands being the only thing that keeps him from suffering from exposure to colder weather. While he's muscular, he's short by modern standards- trying to keep with the notion that a medieval fantasy world doesn't offer much in the way of the kind of nutrition or healthcare that leads to modern averages of height.

This is mostly a reference image for myself. If i color it, I'll shunt this one into the scraps.
