Yeah, it's one of those things in life that you either love or hate with a passion, I reckon. Me, I love the cockfighting but don't really like the fighting to the death part. That's why I only like watching the sparring part, where the cocks are fitted with rubber gloves instead of razor sharp metal spurs.

Oh wow, I didn't know there was a more humane version. Must be just in the Philippines. In PR, I only know of the deadly variety with the sharp metal spurs.
