Description
A time long since lost, but a memory stirring in my soul.
What was hidden shall be revealed,
and what was lost shall be found again.

thank you a lot of memories have returned to me... it begins to make more sense, what life was like 'beyond the veil' (home).

hm it's a big castle, in the Other-realm. It's mentioned in folklore, where the elves and fae built their world parallel to ours. My spirit still roams there a lot. Lots of events took place there. Perhaps you too were part of this world.

Is this an image of you? Or a depiction of your long missing spirit friend. The beautiful creature has pointed ears and that makes me think the latter it true. I thought I saw all your work but I don't remember this one. For some reason I find this lovely work very emotional and interesting! Me RJ, one of your sincere fans

it's me but overpainted and a few changes, like my arm holding the goblet, longer hair, pointy ear
etc.
i'm glad you found it emotive too. It was inspired by the book i've been reading about the faery/elven race. So much has been lost in time, and i felt like i wanted to re-create one of those lost moments, like the end was near.
The faery had a ritual too, of drinking blood from the cup of life (legend of the Holy Grail).

Raven Do more work like that I really liked the emotions it gave off. Join your art and intellectual occult interests to conjure up the long lost past. LOL maybe you'll discover something interesting inspiring in the very act.
Since I was very young I was interested in the dawn of time and theoretical pre-history advanced civilizations, then I studied the occult for furtherer possibilities and subtle hints. At first it was just so many words description of places with typical myths, then came photos and then more precise photographs of places around the world! NOW we have actual films of ruined places all over the world. And they're coming across more weird places all the time. It seems that Stones tells the true tale, we just need to know how to read what they are saying.
Group of intelligent Races of being have inhabited this planet a lot longer than people think, whether human, aliens or different fay types from close but alternate dimensions, they were here for a while and then some went away using their strange magic or advanced technology only to return later date. I truly believe when we go to Mars we'll find signs of our precursors there too. In the end, we'll eventually find out what it is all about, that is if we don't kill ourselves off first!

i think a lot of my art comes from my subsonscious as with many artists. I mainly like to do landscapes, but this turned out quite well.
yes, i am seeing more evidence all the time of this too... and huge stone structures, things that could never be built by human hands. i'm presently looking at the old maps of Doggerland and Hyperborea. This is where i believed i had one such past life, very different than things are now. It was a time when we lived more in harmony with nature, but were far from a prehistoric/primitive mentality. It was quite advanced. Now a lot of this ancient land is underwater!
The time i'm thinking of is around anywhere between 10000-70000 years ago!
you should watch some of Alex Collier's vids. He talks about Earth's history going back millions of years, and about alien cultures. If his claims are true (and i think they are) his info is astounding.

that means a lot to me, thank you!
this picture was inspired by my ancient heritage, when the faery and elvish folk ruled the day.
Hails to the Morrigan!

thanks! i initially didn't intend it to look like a painting. I spent too long trying to remove grains/roughness from photos.
but i was happy with the final result

It's actually very smooth, there's no roughness to it, that's why I think it's almost like a painting. You can't tell that you (as the model) are actually a picture and not painted. So you did an excellent job!
