WHEEE this year I got Ammerlie for my DotW Secret Santa! 
The background was inspired from some scenery I saw on the way down south for the holidays. We got snow. Ohhh my gosh I love snow.

I really like the brushes you used in the background, the trees have an almost geometrical feel that's really pleasing to the eye : ) And you did a great job with Petra's unique shape and features!
