Fan art for the film A Monster In Paris. I've been a teensy weensy bit obsessed with this movie since I finally watched it for the first time last week with my nephews. I watched it twice with them and again by myself so I could appreciate it without the commentary from two young boys (good commentary mind you, they loved the movie!). Aaand then I've had it on a few times as white noise while drawing this!The movie isn't without my silent critique but for what it is it's great.

I drew this in pencil, inked in with multiple pens, and used it to experiment with watercolor effects in SAI

You should give the movie a watch when you get the chance! It's on Netflix, but I'm sure you could find it else where if you looked around. It's in English and French, and I haven't watched it in French but I've listened to the songs and their just as good in both versions.
