So, I'm still on an Ice King streak xD This is how I imagine Simon Petrikov got the teeth he has as Ice King. I got the idea from the episode "What Have you Done?" when Ice King says, "You Know, I carved these game pieces from my own teeth!"Here's a clip!

I used Illustrator to make the line art as an experiment, it worked well for the style. I colored it in Photoshop.
I should also say these were made separately and then put together, so it's not the best comic layout XD
I don't know how good the quality will be, I had to copy the JPEG onto new file that was RGB, because it was originally CMYK and deviant art won't let me upload it as such.

By this logic, he should have been temporarily toothless after he got hit by the anti-magic. Still, it goes well with the idea that the crown has to adapt a new host's body for occupation. To paraphrase from DC's Blackest Night, you don't wear the crown, the crown wears you.
This also reminds me of a scene from Jeff Goldblum's "The Fly".

I'm not following you about him being toothless because of anti-magic, could you explain for me?
There is one, glaring mistake in this picture that I'm surprised no one has mentioned yet and that is the last image makes no sense - he is using his ice powers to cool the pain in his gums, but he isn't wearing the crown, and he cannot use ice magic unless he is wearing the crown. I didn't think of it when I was drawing it, only after I finished. Oops!

okay, so this stuff happened a long time ago but I'm not one to bare grudges so I'm not really all that bothered about it any more, but if you check the dates I'm sure you'll notice mine was first.
Also, around the time I said that I still wasn't feeling confident to upright confront the artist about it, but we did talk. Somehow, I think it's probably better than me running up and screaming OMG U IDEA THEIF I FUCKING HATE YOU!!!11!!!!
Not to mention that around the time I was incredibly proud of my work even if it wasn't the best and even if you could call this artist's version a better one. I spent a lot of time on it, and it kinda hurt to see someone getting a lot of credit for something I did first.
And to be honest, it isn't really your place to argue.....

Oh wow! I can see why you would think I copied you, I guess you had the idea before I did. However, I assure you I didn't copy you. If I had seen this before, I would have commented on it before drawing anything like it just to avoid a situation like this. Before drawing mine, I hadn't seen anything like it, that's why I went through with it.
I'm sorry if you don't believe me, but I'm telling the truth. I'm pretty sure my idea has been used after posting it on tumblr, though, since I've posted it I've seen a growing amount of "Simon Growing Teeth" fan art, here are the ones I've seen so far -

hmmm, well I'm not surprised you've started something since it is such an interesting idea
and to be honest I'm always worrying about the same thing, whether or not I'm being original, it's really hard to tell on a place like the internet when there are so many people. I definitely don't want to be unreasonable.
Regardless of whatever the situation may be I wouldn't be angry at you even if you are lying, not saying you are or I think you are but if that were the case, you just can't trust anyone out here. I guess it's not about who's idea it was but how it was conveyed and the artistic talents of whoever is conveying it, and on that level I suppose I just wasn't good enough. In the end no-one cares really.

Hey, you're no bother! Thanks for showing me your version, I liked it a lot! I liked how red was the only color you used, and the sketchiness, it really made it dark and horrific
