Second comic. Good God in Heaven with a spoonful of tapioca pudding!--this thing took for freakin' ever! And I was /lazy/! Or maybe it's because I'm lazy that it took so long, but seriously, between drawing, scanning, getting the linework just so, gettign the flats in, shading, touch-ups...good lord, this took about four days...at least.
Of course, it would probably only take HALF that time if my computor weren't so bleeding slow.
I hate the last two panels and the " th-whip" thing. I was just too ready to be done to think of anything better. I do like his battle-grimace, though. Came out right...I think.
...and I agree with Jamie. Toad shouldn't smoke. Movie!Mortie would so chew Ulti!Toad out. A martial artist can't /smoke!/
I promise I'll work on backgrounds on the third one.
...speaking of comics, where's TTQ's next Tonda comic? I'm waiting...

Love the bandana and fading on the jump. Any reason why she didn't send a hologram instead of confronting him directly? Or does it just appear as if his tongue is able to grab her arm?

In the comics, I'd agree, but in the movie, he was definately a martial artist. I mean, Ray Park is just phenomenal, and the controlled aspect came out every now and again.
There's next to no info on movie!Toad, so, I dunno, I just figger him as a martial artist because Park is.

I always imagined that Ultimate Toad would have this attitude like a really sardonic Spike (Buffy the Vanpire Slayer) and this is another good example of that.

Ack, no! Now the plot is ruined! *finds Toad another bandana for Jamie to steal* Heh. Thanks. I never thought of Spike, but now that you've said it, it makes perfect sense. They're both scrawny as hell, both British, and they've both got that attitude. I swear, I can just see Toad going "Well, they've got this onion thing..."
