I have absolutely no talent whatsoever at drawing humanoid figures. Yet I continue to punish myself and try to keep drawing them. At least I'm somewhat skilled at photography.
If I can continue at it, you certainly should. You have a lot of talent. Sometimes talent needs to be worked on, though. You can always improve, that doesn't necessarily mean you have to, though.
You have your own style, so go with it. It doesn't have to look like what everyone else does. By going your own way you're being an individual and unique. :3

Mm. Photography is something I love deeply. I'm definitely not giving up on it. Though I will need to get a new camera soon, as my current camera is nearing the end of its life. My DroidX is a really good camera, but I greatly dislike the idea of my phone being my main device used for photography.
I'm not sure if photography will get me anywhere in life. And if it doesn't, well, that's fine. I'm a just a shutterbug. I'm not really aspiring to be any better with photography or to go anywhere with it.
I would love to improve my art skills, though. So if you have any tips for me I'd really appreciate them.

Photography and art will get you far in life, you just have to practice, and you'll become a pro, well, you already are, but you know.

I'm a fan of my own photography, lol. And there are some things I can draw that I love the way I draw them. I just don't like the way most of my drawn stuff turns out.

Not all of my photos turn out well, but I think the fact that I treasure even the ones that don't turn out right might play part in my overall success. I consider even the blurry ones to be important, because the memory they hold within them isn't suddenly worthless or unmemorable just because the photo capturing it didn't turn out right.
I have a little talent when it comes to photography. Another reason I think I'm alright at it is because if the picture isn't perfect, it doesn't bother me. I take pictures to document the world I live in. To make and store memories of my life.
My photographs tell my story.

That's true. Never get rid of your photos, no matter what. They save memories, and you will forever remember the day you took it. Pictures can tell a life story.
It's amazing to see old photos and think "that was the best day of my life". And I swear, you have alot of talent, don't ever stop!

I don't plan on ever stopping my photography. There are periods of time where I lose interest in it, but then someone (usually my fiance) does something, says something, or shows me something that makes me pick my camera back up.
I've been performing a massive upload to dA, because I spent a long time away from this site, so my account isn't up to date with all the things that have happened in my life. In the last week I've uploaded about four hundred photographs, and I have about another thousand to go, I believe.
