This is the first in a series of tool tutorials. I'm gonna go through the most used tools in photoshop and make a basic tutorial on them.

This one is about placement. This teaches the basic principles of how to place a picture on an icon and on a big banner. This of course does not go through every type of placement. But I give the basics of what I look for when I am placing a picture.
