Description
Dell-Indilwen suggested me to draw Rue in her interview dress for Innocence, and I could picture it the instance I read it. I wanted to focus on the “wings” of her dress. I couldn’t quite figure what a gossamer dress is supposed to be like but I imagine a very thing, flowing, light fabric.
It actually turned out more angelic than bird-ish, but I suppose it’s not too wrong either, especially since Katniss doesn’t seem to know what they are (remembering the part where she’s in Snow’s mansion and refers to the paintings on the wall as “fat children with wings”) and it’s not specified she resembles a bird in her dress... I think
