Incredible, I love the twisting branches stretching up towards the shadowy darkness of the clouds. It's almost like a world inside the mind of a madman, a place of shadows and desolation..I love it

Nice! It seems like time has stopped in this photo. You have really captured the apocalyptic mood in this one.

I think the sky is a little over-darkened - it'd be nice to see the top of the tree before it blackens out, Apart from that, it is an excellent work

love me a lonely tree shot, the aura of the clouds as a plethora of obsticals and foes to face, the narled tree so fragile yet string at the same time

This is a gorgeous scene, the light through the clouds against such a twisted old tree... I am entranced.

only criticism i can think of is that you called it the last tree when there are several hundred in the back round, other than that great composition

Its a very emotional work, I think. It is so dark there and the tree stand alone, so I think, it is a sad picture. Sad and strong at the same time.
I like this work very much.

absolutely beautiful!
but I have a question,
do you edit the skies so they look like that,
or is it just always stormy when you go out to shoot?
