Description
Ok, so... I decided to draw more of this species I just come up, because they're really fun to draw I guess. I enjoy weird/unique creatures too much I guess. Which means more bird lizard guys XD I swear, someday I'll come up with an actual name for this species and make an actual reference for it (for them and all of the... Cat people X'D). For now I just plan to draw some of them I guess.
Because I can't stop myself from making more random characters I guess X'D
And besides of that I also plan to draw a full body drawing of Ekhrash too

This time I decided to draw a regular one with wings. And also a male, so you can kinda see the difference, which... Well, isn't that obvious. They all look kinda androgynous, because I didn't really want to give creatures who are basically a mix of a lizard and a bird a regular humanoid bodies. I mean... They're reptiles who lay eggs, so like... Drawing one with breasts would be just stupid XD Instead I just decided to focus on the bird part of them and go with that. So yes, just like a lot of birds, males tend to have longer and more colorful head and tail feathers than females, and yes, that's basically the main difference. And... Yes, they do have complicated mating rituals that include dancing and singing, again, because... Birds. I guess at this point they're treating it more as traditions I guess.

And when it comes to their wings, I wanted to do something interesting with them, I just went with something inbetween of a typical dragon wings and bird wings and a result is... Well, that. There is a theory that they're the only living distant relatives of dragons after all (since dragons basically went extinct in that world... Which MAY have be a fault of a one evil goddess).

But enough of that, let's talk about this guy here.

Arre-Kai (again, their names are weird and sound like... Well... Weird bird sounds X'D) is a complete opposite of Ekhrash in a way. Not only because he was wings that are concidered a really beautiful ones by a lot of people, but because while he could be everything she ever wanted, but couldn't do, he just didn't want to. While Ekhrash wanted to be a warrior, but wasn't allowed to, he was actually expected to become one by his entire family, but was never interested in it. He actually comes from a family of respected warriors, some of which are concidered heroes. It makes them one of the most respected members of their society. Besides that, he was also always known for his beauty. Red and golden color scheme is pretty rare for that species and is concidered really pretty. All of that just lead to him living a pretty comfortable life, even as... Well, not a warrior. He's mostly interested in art in any way and also... Well, fashion. Because he's also known for unique outfits which he makes himself. He's thinking about starting a little business and starting to sell the clothes he makes, actually, but he didn't decide to do so yet.

He's... Well, basically an eccentric righ guy, in a way. And sometimes he even acts like one. He's WAY too overdramatic in literally anything he's doing. And probably loves to be a center of attention way too much. But he's also able to see beauty in simple things, like the sun setting over the sea. He's also really curious about new experiences in any kind. Because of that, when he heard about Malavien visiting their island, he offered him to stay at his house, just so he could meet a human. Most of those guys never really saw a human, because people don't really visit the islands they live on. Maybe besides some Gedrae's cultists who... Well, are never friendly, or some people who got there on accident. So Malavien visiting was a big deal. And... Let's just say that this time Malavien wasn't the person who was asking way too much questions about somebody's life XD It was... Awkward, but he can't really complain, since Arre-Kai also shared a lot of info about their history and culture with him as well.

He didn't really care about Ekhrash at first and honestly was treating her as a freak (as a lot of them did towards anybody without wings) initially. But it changed later, after he learned more about her. They were never close friends and they do tend to argue a lot (you may blame mostly Erkhash' temper on that X'D), but he also helped her several times.

Well... I don't plan any of those guys being a really deep characters with huge backstories I guess, but it may change, I don't know X'D
