Part of my Power Rangers Universe

The De Facto king of Angel Grove High School. Jason is your typical small town jock; teachers love him despite his grades, he has special privilege outside of school, parties on the weekend, and girls practically throw themselves at him. His sport of choice is Karate, and Jason is very good at it. Which is good, since a recent run in with the law has lead to him teaching classes at the youth center as community service. While on a field trip Jason and a handful of other students snuck off and stumbled upon a collection of coins. When they grabbed them the teens were transported to a spaceship where they met Zordon and Alpha. They were made into Power Rangers and training began to prepare them for whatever evil came their way.

*NOTES*
I'm trying for a 90s Breakfast Club thing whereas stereotypes from 90s teen movies come together and eventually find common ground. Jason would start as the classic jock (think Flash Thompson from Spider-Man) but over time would learn he was wrong and those he ridiculed would become his friends (again, like Flash Thompson). He's also the only one of the original Rangers that begins with formal martial arts training.
