The final preview for part 2 of my Power Rangers trilogy.

The top row is the suits from part 1. I liked them, I really did. But I wanted to do a new look for part two so it didn't look like I was just copying and pasting and actually doing new work. It took some time, but I finally landed on an upgraded design I like.

Enter the bottom row, the upgraded look. I realized that my earlier attempts to update were simply way to drastic of changes. This morning however I tried a more subtle approach, making them obviously both different and still the same. In canon my reasoning for the change is that the Morphers were low on energy being thousands of years old. So the engineers at base camp made some modifications to keep them running like new, modification that included more armor for protection as well. You may have noticed the 2nd White Ranger didn't get an upgrade. This wasn't an oversight, there is a plot reason for it.

I also added the evil rangers for both parts with the White Ranger in part 1 and the Dark Ranger in part 2. Though, if you remember the White Rangers actually turned out to be not a villain after all. No such luck with the Dark Ranger, he is 100% evil. And yes there is a reason why he also gets an upgrades suit, and yes there is a connection to the Red Ranger...I'm just not telling yet.

Anyway, part 2 is nearly complete. I just want to update 4 more Rangers' civilian forms. Should be done by this evening, meaning a late post tonight or tomorrow morning (Pacific Time, sharing that detail to avoid any confusion).
