I got another workdump for you all so you can see what I've been up to this week. it's mostly DC stuff, and more specifically Green Lantern...possibly inspired by my current rewatch of the the animated series, or the release of Earth One Volume 2.

Anyway, as you can see I got Despero, who will be my universe's first Justice League villain because...he was the first real Justice League villain. I looked at a few version of him and decided that if he was meant to be a fugitive when he comes to earth, the minimalist look was ultimately the best.

Then I have a Guardian of the Universe, not much to say here, I kept it basic so I can add details to the various guardians as I see fit.

Next is Aya...who I played around with a bit. See in trying to tie Allan Scott's Story into the rest of the Green Lantern lore I have been floating the idea that the Green power Battery is in fact on Earth, not Oa. But to do that I need to make some large changes to the universe's lore. So I made both a Green Lantern and a Manhunter version of Aya for now...but I will probably not use the Manhunter.

Same reasoning for my Sinestro work, if the Green Power Battery is on Earth, then how would there be other Green Lanterns? So I did the classic blue look as a possible idea that the Guardians simply have a lesser battery that doesn't do constructs. I also did a yellow lantern version just for fun. Both of these are basically just palette swaps of what I already did, so not a lot of work there.

Now for my own original hero, the Blur. I have lately been redesigning all my XVerse heroes to fit into a nondescript early 20th century setting. Blur is my speedster, with the body of a professional (American) football player. So I gave him some height, modified the skintight suit to add elements from a race car driver, and recolored the suit with elements of cars from that era. Still want to do a few minor tweaks here and there, but overall I like what I got...and the fact that he no longer looks like a Flash knockoff is a huge factor in that.

Lastly I have the Black Time Force Power Ranger from the upcoming graphic novel Sins of The Future...I think. Over the lockdown I decided while I wait for series that were mid event to come back I would back and reread them from the beginning. One such series is the BOOM Studio Power Rangers run, which I did in chronological order rather than release order. I strongly recommend that order by the way if you haven't read it before, sliding timelines always annoy me. So I've been on a bit of a Power Rangers kick. And since the Time Force is my favorite suit design and they are getting a new Ranger, I decided to try my hand at it.
