This is how I draw and color eyes.

Another thing is blend blend blend!! I do the whole iris while it's still wet which is hard to show with a picture tutorial. If it dries and doesn't blend properly, don't worry, just go over it again with the lighter color until it looks ok!

i'm sure it could be! I haven't used them but from what i've heard they're similar enough!

Well, there are a few of differences, but mainly superficial, like Prismacolors have less of a color selection than Copic, but they are cheaper(at least where I live)
