Description
Here's some random progress I've made on a practice drawing. I haven't thought of a name for it yet.Anyone have any ideas? What do you think so far? Still working on the hair and the eye farthest from the screen. I suck at hair and eyes on the computer. And eyes are the one thing I'm decent at on paper.... BAH!
Here's the original stock image I'm working from:

^^ You have an awesome gallery! I wish I could do better in traditional drawings. I also wish I could do original characters. Sadly, I can only do stuff like this on the computer and if I have a stock image to work from >.< Although, I can color line art fairly well. I will say that. Not at this level, but I still have fun with it

thank you! It means a lot to hear that I also work with reference images, I'm not perfect. To be honest I did only digital for nearly 2 years, but May this year I bought myself a set of pencils. first in june I really got into it and I have to say it has been an intensive practise. I do almost no digital. I have been behind with my pencil skills also I missed the old feeling of having a real piece of paper & pen. So ut was like a restart with the pencil because even before I wasn't really up to this level.
hope this can inspire you! And your'e talented too just keep practising and don't give up! Most of all your'e not get better if you dont enjoy drawing. I experienced that. We want stuff to happen to quickly just for the resault. Instead of putting time to and enjoying the process to get there. Don't rush. You might need reference today but sooner you will realize that you can create your own charachters etc. without it

It's looking good so far! I know what you mean about eyes, mine are much better in traditional work. But yours are looking very nice. Also, the cheekbones and shading there is excellent. I don't know if it's just me, but the far side of the chin looks slightly flat, like it's not curving away... you see what I mean? All in all, it's coming along really well and I bet it'll look great in the finish!
(I also know what you mean about people favouriting your artwork and not commenting- argh! How annoying!)

Thanks for the constructive feedback! It's VERY much appreciated! I do agree with you on the far side of the chin. I'd been having trouble making it behave (LoL!) but I think I've fixed the problem. Once I get the full work done, I'll post it. Please feel free to critique! I can only learn to improve if I know where my weak points are!
