I'm not a photographer; just a fella with an iPhone. While traveling an America seemingly in decline (during the "Shutdown," no less), I felt inclined to capture as best I could some of the nation's best and worst. So, while politicians argued over the worth of America's individual parts, I set out out to capture its sum value; its natural beauty, its forgotten histories, and the ghosts of what might have been.
