Description
Yoko is usually being followed by an entourage whenever she makes public or business appearances, but I never thought of putting a name and face to them. Well, that changes today! Information about each person in her entourage can be found on their individual deviations:NOTE TO THE ONES NOT IN THE FANDOM: Yoko is a character that I'm using in a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles roleplay, so you will be finding aspects of that peppered into her backstory. Just thought I'd warn you!
By the time she was 18, Yoko and Tsukasa have garnered enough support to put Tsukasa as the next on in line for Kumicho (yakuza top boss). When she was 100% confident of their status, she began to work on a plan to eliminate the current head.
On the Kumicho's birthday banquet, a dish of ill-prepared fugu (pufferfish) was served to him and he was immediately rushed to the hospital. Yoko immediately ordered for the chef to be brought to her and she slashed his head off in front of everyone. Afterwards she called his family to tell them that they had 24 hours to disappear before she comes for them.
What no one knew was that the chef was actually a man who was deep in debt due to an ill daughter and his own ailments. In exchange for his life and reputation for poisoning the Kumicho, his family will receive enough money to cure their daughter twice over and start a new life somewhere else. The only other person who knew about this was Shouhei, who helped organize the deal.
That night, Yoko visited the Kumicho in the hospital and administered a dose of Potassium Chloride, thus finishing the job and putting Tsukasa in the top seat as boss.

Those photos of yakuza groups or clans... the well dressed chars, serious expressions, granite hardened faces... must say they are sometimes scary to me. I saw an article about the yakuza in a brazilian magazine and rthere is a similar photo... rthey are the materialization of the term "ruthless-ness"!
But at the same... the different chars, sizes and also the wat they try show being aserious and solemn for the photo hint to somethiong humorous... specially the guy, the third from the left to right
And to complete: I loved how you drew their suits Black suit and tie... the true elegance for men

Are there plenty of Nikkei where you are? Are there yakuza groups in Brazil too, since there are many people there of Japanese descent?
When I was in Japan last summer, when they realized I wasn't Japanese they kept asking if I was a Brazilian Nikkei!
And yes, I love men in black suits!

Oh, I didn't realize that ^^ I have a friend who's living in Japan now and her boyfriend is a Nikkei too. Have you ever thought of moving to Japan? Didn't they open up easy immigration for Nikkei a while ago?

Oh yeah, that's right, I forgot that it's hard again these days.
haha, long plane rides are indeed horrible. At least when I go to Japan, I only sit in the plane for 5 hours, and even that's long for me!

Well, when on long flights (like more than 10 hours), the planes are bigger, so you can get up and walk around the airplane a little bit.

I think their heads ended up looking bigger because of the stumpy way I drew their legs. I knew it could have been better but I got lazy

Gosh, I really enjoy reading the blurbs here XDD Oh man, Shoumei. He scares me a bit now. But I find Jun endearing. Yoko just keeps getting more awesome 83
Although I hope you don't mind me saying that her hairdressing is kind of off? Idk. Maybe it's just me, but I keep thinking that Japanese hair ornaments are meant to be worn with the hair in an up-do. But I guess it can be worn with the hair down, too... I'm just thinking about the logistics of how it would hold XDD

Shouhei: Don't be scared, miss. Why don't you walk down this dark alley with me and I'll talk your fears away? *glasses glint*
I think Jun is now my favorite in the entourage XD
Oh, haha, actually her hair is in a half up-do, but when I colored it, the lines on the side of her head indicating that disappeared D: If you look closely to the right of her head and squint her eyes and REALLY concentrate, I think you can see it XDDDDD

Oh gad, now I'm tempted to draw them as such XDDDDDD

Thank you, I'm glad you're enjoying it I was reluctant to share it at first since I wasn't expecting anyone to be interested, so it's a real treat to know that some people like it ^^

KCl, Potassium Chloride.
As to the story, just a quick comment isn't really enough sometimes; more is needed. You're going beyond that, telling a STORY; it's like reading a comic book one panel at a time, with details filling in the missing info and ...well, it's just neat.

OH, riiiiiiiight =_= I first read it as K. C. I. Big i, not small L)
You know you're spending too much on the internet when you see a chemical formula and you think, "Is this a new acronym I don't know about?" or "Is it supposed to form a little picture like OTL?"
Wow, how embarrassing, haha.
Again, thanks I hope the story stays interesting to people. I do predict that there will be a part in it that people won't like. I can see it now, hehehe.

You laugh. One of the jokes at my job is how many acronyms we deal with; they're becoming redundant. It was noted that the acronym TLA is an acronym for Three Letter Acronyms.... >_<
